I totally understand your logic, the only thing is that you lose the ‘any’ element.
Your Ex. 2a-2f give all three possibilities at the same time, rather like ‘three-dimensional’ flexion or extension.
Would you put the ‘any’ sign under these indications to give them that missing information?
