At the Dance Notation Bureau, we are dedicated to preserving, documenting, and promoting the artistry of dance through notation. As a member, you join a vibrant community of notation enthusiasts and practitioners, including notation teachers, stagers, and notators, committed to the rich tapestry of movement expression.
Membership is valid for one year from the date you join.
The DNB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Membership contributions are fully tax deductible unless noted otherwise if an autographed Labanotation page is elected as a gift.

Sponsors receive a page of notation on archival paper signed by the notator, created on LabanWriter (limited edition). Choose from Doris Humphrey’s Day on Earth, notator Muriel Topaz, or Antony Tudor’s Echoing of Trumpets, notator Virginia Doris.
Patron $250
Patrons receive a page of notation on archival paper: George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, signed by the notator, Ann Hutchinson Guest.
Benefactor $500
Benefactors receive a page of notation on archival paper signed by the choreographer. Choose from Gerald Arpino’s Sea Shadow, Murray Louis’ Bach Suite, or Laura Dean’s Fire.
Angel $1000
Angels receive a page of notation on archival paper of Paul Taylor’s Airs, signed by the choreographer, created on LabanWriter (limited edition).
