Body portions such as “both arms,” “both hands,” etc. can be depicted with separate signs for the right and left body parts (Ex. a,c), or by conjoining signs (Ex. b,d). In contrast, “both lower arms,” “both upper arms,” “both lower legs,” and “both upper legs” are only depicted with separate signs (Ex. e,f). As far as I know, composite signs for those portions have not been established. I think such signs would be useful. Perhaps they too could consist of conjoined signs (Ex. g, h).
