Attitude The Dancer’s Magazine was launched, by Bernadine Jennings, in 1982 as an artists-initiated trade Journal and audience development tool. I am proud to say that my photo graced the cover of the premiere issue, along with an article of my percussion notation system. Bernadine was a student of mine at Brooklyn College and was a member of my dance troupe Omo-Africa appearing in dance programs on the campus and other venues throughout the tri-state area. The Journal has grown in scope becoming a journal that covers the diverse community of dance regionally and globally. Attitude is a journal worthy of the focus of the DNB members and affiliate dance community.
